As an architect, my journey has been shaped by a deep fascination with the intersection of shared spaces, human interaction, and narrative based design approach, causing my work to be driven by a passion for creating meaningful spaces that are socially impactful and nourished by the context. Over the years, I have navigated a wide array of design scales from housing and public projects to artistic installations and land art interventions to discover the interplays of architecture.
After earning my architectural education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, I decided to refine my skills in professional practice at a renowned architectural studio in Istanbul. During my time there I learned to work as a part of a group in a professional setting and had the chance to contribute as a designer to impactful projects at the city level such as Antep Science Center and also various housing and office projects.
Later on, I took an independent path, founding a collective studio. This shift allowed me to focus on projects that helped my growth as both an architect and a designer while honing my skills in building a network and communicating with stakeholders. In the course of this period, I participated in more than a dozen architectural competitions both national and worldwide. I perceive such competitions as a way to develop my creative process through challenging settings and have had a habit of participating since my bachelor's education.
My time as an independent designer made wanting to expand my horizons even more by getting a master’s education in one of the most accomplished programs in the world. Advanced Studies in Architecture master program at UPC deepened my understanding of urban design, public space interventions, and designing within challenging societal contexts.
